Surprise! Something in the Cellar, my previously unannounced debut release, should be available over the next few days. All going well, it should launch on Amazon this Tuesday, but I’ll keep you updated regarding any changes. It’ll be out on other stores shortly after, too.

Something in the Cellar is a collection of two short stories, one of which I wrote a while back, and another that is brand spanking new.

Also, perhaps one of the most exciting features of the the eBook is that it contains a first ever preview of the opening pages of What We Saw.

So, two short stories and a cheeky first look at my debut novel, all for the incredibly low price of just 79p/99¢.

I wanted to give you loyal blog readers a sneak-peek of the cover and the blurb. The cover is top-left, and was designed by me. I wanted something eye-catching without paying over the odds, as I stand little chance of covering the costs through selling short stories alone.

I’ll be in touch when it’s available. For now, make a reminder for the 7th August. Or, to be notified as soon as it is available, click here.

This is EXCITING!

Thanks so much for the support,
Ryan.

Something in the Cellar

The title story follows a mother, Sandra, who is hiding a rather large secret in her cellar, in the form of her murdered husband. Struggling to do right by her child, Sandra tries to convince herself to face up to her fears, but does she have the courage to tackle the situation, and deal with the body once and for all? (Short Story/3,000 words approx/12 pages.)

Bonus Story: The Runaway

The Runaway  follows a mysterious character as they escape the depths of a dark, industrial tunnel. Who is the unnamed ‘He’ that the protagonist is obsessed with, and just what exactly are they running from? Questions will be answered, and new ones will form, as the story hurtles to a shocking conclusion. (Short Story/2,000 words approx/8 pages.)
